Channels

Channels connect your assistant to the chat apps you already use. Messages sent there reach the same assistant, agents, and workspace as the desktop composer.

• Slack
• Discord

Setting up a channel

1. Open Settings → Channels.
2. Pick a channel and follow its pairing flow — each channel walks you through connecting a bot to your account or workspace.
3. Bind the channel to an assistant. Messages arriving on that channel are answered by the assistant you chose.

What to expect

• Conversations started from a channel appear in your history like any other conversation.
• The app runs the agents locally — your desktop (or a machine running pavii-web) needs to be on for channel messages to be processed.
